From May 31 to June 3, Great Aim Group welcomed a group of special guests, led by Mr. Li Wenyu, chairman of American Oriental Banking Corporation. The 16-member overseas joint inspection group was composed of chairmen and general managers of 11 famous enterprises, including Mr. Lin Xiangneng, a member of the central committee of China KMT, chairman of the presidium of the central review board of KMT and former head of Taiwan Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. Xu Sangui, chairman of the board of US JHJ Holdings Co., Ltd., John Williams, general manager of Maritime Transport Limited (UK), Dr. Chen Xingshi, chairman of Taiwan Evergreen Special Steel Industry Co., Ltd., and Billy Wang, president of China region of NCH Corporation. Under the company of Chairman Yang of Great Aim Group, the delegation made an inspection to Zhongshan and Zhuhai in succession.
During the inspection, Cui Guochao, party committee secretary of Zhongshan and director of the standing committee of the city's NPC; Peng Jianwen, executive vice mayor of the city's government; Deng Weilong, party committee secretary of Zhuhai and director of the standing committee of the city's NPC; Wang Shunsheng, deputy secretary of the city's party committee and mayor; and vice mayor Chen Honghui, and other leaders respectively met with and entertained members of the delegation.

(Zhongshan Daily reported on June 1) Yesterday, an overseas joint delegation of 12 members composed of heads of internationally famous enterprises such as strategic partners of Great Aim US--American Oriental Banking Corporation and Taiwan Evergreen Group and experts and scholars arrived at Zhongshan. In the inspection to the seaside industrial park, the delegation kept praising. It was reported that the Seaside Industrial Park was officially confirmed by the Ministry of Science and Technology in December 2004 as a (Zhongshan) Seaside Equipment Manufacturing Base of the National Torch Program, which is a rare large-scale industrial virgin land in the Pearl River Delta region at present. The Industrial Park is close to the Pearl River Estuary to the east, faces Guangzhou Nansha Development Zone across the water to the north, adjacent to Hengmen West Waterway to the west and neighboring Qi'ao Island of Zhuhai to the south. It is richly endowed with port vicinity advantages. The Industrial Park will strive to develop the upper stream projects of five key theme industries, equipment manufacturing, new energy, new materials, heavy chemical industry and modern logistics, following a brand new development and construction philosophy for an industrial base and starting from the adjustment of industrial structure, boosting the industrial optimization and update of Torch Area and the city, and transforming the economic growth mode, with an aim to drive the development of eastern clusters and the industrial structure adjustment of the city.
Mr. John Williams of Maritime UK told the reporter that the purpose of the inspection was to search for some investment projects related with logistics and ports. He said, Zhongshan has a very good investment environment and it is promising to invest in Zhongshan. Many of his friends in the US are engaged in port projects. He hoped that they can also cooperate with the Torch Area in port development projects.
In the rain the delegation made a field inspection to the Animation Culture Industrial Park located in Nanlang Town.
(Zhuhai Daily reported on June 2) "As a witness to the development of Zhuhai, my personal experience tells me that Zhuhai is a fertile land for investment. The government of Zhuhai is a good partner and friend for investors. Zhuhai is now ushering in a very good investment period." Yesterday, a 16-member overseas joint delegation led by Li Wenyu, chairman of the board of American Oriental Banking Corporation, composed of Fortune 500 enterprises and world famous enterprises such as US JHJ Holdings, Daxin Group, NCH Corporation, arrived at Zhuhai and attended the promotion conference of investment environment held by the government of Zhuhai that very day.
