On the morning of February 3, the work summary conference 2012 of the group was held at the hall on 2nd floor of Longteng Bay Club. The conference was presided over by Zhao Riyun, administrative director, and attended by around 400 people, including Chairman Yang Feng and his wife Ms. Yu Aidi, all members of the board, representatives of advanced units, excellent employees, principals of each center, each secondary company and each department and some other employees.
President Yu Daoqun reported on work summary of 2012 and work mentality and plans for 2013 on behalf of the group. In the report, he pointed out, in 2012 the group moved on under the high pressure of "purchase limitation" and "price limitation". Faced with the extremely difficult situation of the industry, the board of the group made strict efforts in sales and activated the commercial properties and achieved a cash return to the changes of market situation. They have actively expanded different kinds of financing channels and tried to raise funds in different forms, which has enabled the group's real estate segment to maintain certain vitality in the "severe coldness" and maintain its core assets. With the market warming up and gradually going out of the difficulty, it has generated good economic benefits, boosted the enhancement of the group's integrated strength and laid down a solid foundation for high-standard and diversified development of the group.
In 2012, the group paid attention to adjustment of industrial structure. On the basis of guaranteeing normal operation of core assets, it has adjusted the development of the company and extended several projects, which were not only consistent with the national industrial policies, but also could receive policy support from the local governments where the projects were located. It can be affirmed that these new projects will be new source of dynamic force for the group's sustainable development in the future.
In talking about the work mentality for 2013, Yu pointed out, firstly, secondary companies should be treated as relatively independent projects and a new operating model should be promoted in the real estate segment; secondly, we should continue to accelerate the progress of new real estate projects under planning; thirdly, we should do well in the planning and construction of LED key lab and production base; fourthly, the group planned to register and establish a petty loan company in Shenzhen; fifthly, we should strengthen the group's financial control and management; sixthly, we should further strengthen administrative management; seventhly, we should innovate the incentive mechanism.
After the principals of each center, each company and each department reported their work of 2012, Yang Zhixiong, vice chairman of the board, made a summary address on behalf of the group. He said, in 2012, the group's real estate segment encountered difficulties in fund payment which were rare in years and the sales of houses was affected by the policies of "double limitations". Despite the difficulties, we had achieved a relatively good performance. It does not rain in all cloudy days and not all enterprises will collapse under the high pressure policies. Therefore, we must carefully study the policies, analyze the situation and strengthen our cooperation with large financial institutions and strategic partners. I believe that in 2013 what we lack is not fund any more, but good projects.
On the meeting, awards were given to two advanced collectives and 21 excellent employees with prominent performances in 2012. Chairman Yang spoke highly of the excellent employees such as Chen Xiaobin and Wang Yongbiao.
While proposing a toast in the staff dinner, Chairman Yang fully recognized the achievements made by the group in 2012. In looking back to the path taken by the group for the past 18 years, he said affectionately, firstly "Distance tests the stamina of a horse". That the group has developed to date fully displays our strength in the competition and our capabilities in core assets and urban operation and development. Secondly, "A friend in need is a friend indeed". In the face of difficulties, some staff of the group has left; some have worked hard against the difficulties until today and become the mainstay of the group and made prominent contribution to our development, for which I would extend my respect and gratitude. He said, in 2013, we will make use of our platform to provide our staff with a mechanism with space for development so that everyone can feel happy working in Great Aim.
Lottery drawing was held during the dinner. And the meeting ended in an atmosphere of joy and harmony.
